This year's conference will be held at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
Effective professional certification programs must use multiple-choice test items to assess far more than an individualís ability to memorize and recall information. Beyond the Recall of Knowledge: Writing Test Items to Advanced Cognitive Levels will describe how multiple-choice test items may be used to assess mastery of advanced cognitive and skill levels. Information on identifying the appropriate cognitive and skill levels to anchor test items will be discussed, as well as methods of constructing multiple-choice test items to effectively assess the mastery of advanced cognitive and skill levels.
